Ok travelers, here is a place you have to try. Glazed Donuts Key West is located at 420 Eaton Ave.   This place has been featured in many publications such as USA Today’s Top 10 Best Places for Donuts.

What surprised me the most is this business is run by a husband and wife who are both culinary schools grads, and they are both there at the store, just about every day, running it and taking your orders.

If you can eat two doughnuts and have a great cup of coffee you will leave very full. They serve Red Buoy Coffee which is some of the best on the Island.  My favorite is their iced coffee.  Even with no sweeter added, it has a rich, non-bitter taste that is very satisfying.

I enjoy the Glazed Donuts while my husband will have the Maple and Candied Bacon Donut. The menu selection will change depending on the season and events in the Keys. They will always a have a variety to choose from; no matter when you are in town. If you are really lucky, they may still be warm.

This place is next door to the movie theater in Key West. As you walk down Duval Street and come to Eaton Street look down Eaton and look for the Marilyn Monroe Statue on the side walk. Walk to the statute and you will find this place. This is a morning and mid afternoon restaurant. No late hour cravings for tasty doughnuts.  The couple is very friendly and will answer any questions you will have. Stop by and enjoy a donut and a cup of Red Buoy coffee the next time you are in town.
