Jalapeno poppers are one of my favorite snacks. But these really caught my eye and so glad they did. The fresh twist using wontons made these taste yummy. Perfect for any tailgate or party! These jalapeño popper wonton cups will be your new go to appetizer, trust me!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray muffin pan with cooking spray.
Place one wonton wrapper in each muffin cup; bake for 8 minutes, or until lightly browned.
Remove from oven and cool slightly. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl combine cream cheese, sour cream, bacon, cheese and jalapeños.
Spoon into cups. I used a medium scoop, which made the job much easier. Top each cup with the a sprinkle of the reserved bacon and cheese.
Bake for 8 – 10 minutes; until wontons are golden brown and cheese is melted.
12 wonton cups
4 oz cream cheese; softened
1/2 cup sour cream
12 oz bacon, cooked and crumbled. Reserve 2 Tablespoons
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Reserve 2 Tablespoons
3 – 4 jalapeños; seeded and finely chopped
