When you think of Key West, key lime pie certainly comes to mind.  One of the best places in Key West to taste key lime pie is Kermit’s Key West Key Lime Shoppe.  Just imagine a shop not only selling single slices of key lime pie, but full pies too … and, they can ship out a key lime pie anytime you have a craving.

Plan to spend time wandering around the shop trying all of the wonderful treats.  They offer cookies, taffy, salsas, and jellies.  Not only do they have these wonderful treats, but they also have bath and body items.  If you are short on luggage space, you can order items to be shipped home.

After spending time wandering the store, be sure to buy a slice of key lime pie or try a frozen slice dipped in chocolate.  Yep, I said frozen and dipped in chocolate.  At the original location in Old Town (corner of Greene and Elizabeth) there is a wonderful garden in the back.  Enjoy your pie, or order lunch, in the garden.  The garden is a quiet spot away from the hustle of the busy streets.
